Testing and tagging electrical equipment is a legal requirement in each state and territory of Australia. But the strictness and the actual reauirements depend on the state, industry and the level of risk in the workplace.
To test and tag electrical equipment in Australia you will need some training and some equipment. On the training side you need to be deemed a competent person under the AS/NZS 3760 code and you need to keep compliant records of your testing.
